December 9, 2022, Aurora, Neb. – Hamilton Telecommunications is excited to announce that it is once again participating in the Foundation for Rural Service (FRS) annual college scholarship program to help further higher education among rural youth. FRS awards a one-time $2,500 scholarship to students from rural America for their first year of college, university, or vocational-technical school. Each student is sponsored by an NTCA – The Rural Broadband Association a member company. Hamilton and its fellow FRS members provide funding for each scholarship awarded on an annual basis. The FRS College Scholarship Program seeks to encourage students to return to and engage in their rural communities upon completing their education. In 2022, FRS will award scholarships in each geographic region of the NTCA membership. For each FRS general scholarship, FRS provides $2,000 and the sponsoring NTCA member company provides $500. In additional to the FRS general scholarships, FRS has the following named scholarships:

• Good Neighbor Scholarship
• Herbert and Isabel Bitz Memorial Scholarship
• JSI Scholarship
• TMS Scholarships
• Roger Alan Cox Memorial Scholarship
