October 9, 2026, Aurora, Neb. — Hamilton Telecommunications is inviting local seniors and their family members or caregivers to help test a new wellness solution designed to support safety, independence and peace of mind at home. Through a no-cost, 45-day product test, participants will have the opportunity to try the service in their own homes and share feedback that will help Hamilton better understand how this technology can serve families in our communities.
Hamilton is exploring an ambient solution for senior care, safety and independent living. To ensure privacy and security, the technology uses gentle in-home sensing without the use of cameras or microphones. It is intended to be simple to use while supporting goals many families share: helping older adults remain comfortable in their homes longer, providing added reassurance for family members and caregivers, and offering helpful tools for safety, security and property protection.
Hamilton is looking for participants who are interested in being part of this local product test. Qualified participants should meet the following criteria:
- Be a senior interested in independence, wellness support or aging in place; or
- Be a caregiver or loved one helping a senior explore solutions for aging in place; and
- Be willing to use the service during the 45-day testing period and share feedback on their experience.
The setup process is designed to be simple, and Hamilton will assist with initial account setup and technical support as needed. Equipment and service will be provided at no cost during the 45-day testing period. Hamilton will work closely with participants to learn from their experiences, understand what is most helpful for seniors and caregivers, and explore how this type of solution could support greater independence for those who wish to continue aging in place.
Community members who are interested in participating or learning more are encouraged to contact Hamilton at 402.694.5101.
