Fiber to the Home Construction and Gigabit Internet Coming to Burwell
June 6, 2023, Aurora, Neb. — Hamilton Telecommunications, a leading technology and telecommunications company, has announced that they completed mainline construction
in Burwell and are now ready to begin connecting homes and businesses with direct fiber internet access. With fiber installation, Hamilton will be delivering the fastest Internet
speeds available, including options such as our whole home Gigabit (Gig) plan that delivers up to 1 Gig internet speeds. Whole Home Gig delivers speeds that are eight
times faster than the top speed previously offered by Hamilton and ranks among the fastest in the industry, nationwide.

Hamilton is engaged in a multi-year project to bring fiber to all the homes and businesses of customers within the company’s local telephone exchange areas, including the
Nebraska Central Telephone Company exchanges. “We are proud and excited to continue the construction that the previous owners of NCTC began, giving fiber to the
home access for 100% of our customers,” Nelson said.
The company is now moving toward the final steps of the construction process in Burwell. Elite, a contracted fiber installation team, will be performing the final steps for

The three top speed tiers for customers will increase to 50 Mbps download/ 25 Mbps upload; 250 Mbps download/ 50 Mbps Upload; and Whole Home 1 Gig download/ 250
Mbps upload. These increased speeds allow Hamilton fiber to the home customers to choose the best speeds for their household needs and allow customers to have multiple
devices online by multiple users simultaneously without experiencing slowdown in their internet connection.
