August 29, 2024, Aurora, Neb. — Hamilton Telecommunications, a leading technology and telecommunications company, has announced that they are beginning mainline construction in Ravenna, the next step in the infrastructure needed to deliver direct fiber internet access to all homes and businesses in the town.
With fiber to the home from Hamilton, Ravenna residents will be able to connect to the fastest residential internet speeds available, including options such as the whole home Gigabit (Gig) plan that delivers speeds eight times faster than the top speed previously offered and ranks among the fastest in the industry, nationwide. Hamilton is working with Alpha, a trusted contractor specializing in fiber construction. Construction of this project has already begun and the contractor is currently boring the main line fiber necessary to bring fiber into each neighborhood. As the contractors get the mainline fiber buried, customers will be contacted about completing their in-home installations. Once fiber is installed, Ravenna residents will have access to new services including data plans with speeds up to 1 Gig, managed wi-fi, Cobalt TV, and telephone service.
